

I have some limited experience with this engine, replace an intake, moved around a 390 on other occasions, and all I ever thought about was 'this $hit' is heavy. These are a large heavy motor that found it's way in to some of Ford's lager sedans and trucks, and oh, the Shelby Cobra.

Here is a nice LARGE EZ to read firing order that can be printed for your shop or viewed on the phone while trying to figure out which plug wire goes where! When I think of the Ford 'FE' ironically I think of Iron (no pun intended. Well it actually is the same for all ford FE's, this included the 352, 360, 390, 406, 427 and 428 engines.
